In 2018, Sidedoor was invited to help a major timber supplier develop and launch a new timber flooring product, made from French Oak, with the goal of penetrating the lucrative and competitive market of Engineered Flooring. With the new product still in production, our first step was researching the market to understand opportunities for a cut-throat narrative. We discovered a market gap for a premium, modern and smart engineered flooring product, made from authentic French Oak, that also offered superior manufacturing processes to guarantee optimal quality. From this insight we created a unique brand name, brand story and developed all other crucial brand assets including a quality brochure and a clean, responsive website. The launch of Arbre® was successful with specifiers placing orders immediately.  Phase 2 will entail a hard-hitting marketing campaign, which is currently in development.
